I would make a lousy doctor cause I don't have much patience! I am tired of wearing button down the front shirts and trying to match the button up to the hole! I have several incisions in my left arm pit and left side. I can't lift my arm up to get into a over the head top or even a night shirt. It has only been 5 days since the surgery but I feel like I should be cured by now!!! I don't have the patience with the pain either. I just want to be back to normal. I have to slow down and be patient with my recovery. I need to be grateful that I am alive and slowly healing.......Bunnypie

Patience isn't my strong point. I have less patience with myself than I have for others since in recovery. Before I would have been a screaming shrew and having hissy fits because things were not done in my time.
I can remember my mom and her sister, my Aunt Marion who I lived with at several points in my life saying, "Patience is a virtue, have it if you can." If I remember rightly, I would say "Grrrrr...." quietly under my breath.

Hi Jo----I know what you mean. I expect a lot out of myself and when it doesn't work out I lose patience with myself!!! I ry to be patient with others and give them a chance to do or say what they are gonna do. It really stretches my patience when I am in a long line at a store or in a traffic jam. I try to take deep breaths and count to 10. Sometimes that helps---Bunnypie
