Well the Cubs won the baseball championship! It has been 108 years since this has happened! The neighborhood was chaotic with fire works, barking dogs, and cheering people. We didn't have peace and serenity in the neighborhood until way after midnight. I had a hard time getting back to sleep so I am up doing the chip and considering taking a shower, getting dressed, and making the early morning 7am meeting. I have a doctor appt. at 8:30am and will probably be tired as hell by noon!!! I am thinking it is a way to bring serenity out of chaos???!!! Looking for a solution----Bunnypie

Grateful that I didn't panic and kept my serenity this morning when I woke up late. Did a quick wash, pulled on some clothes and was out the door. I probably missed a couple of spots and when I looked at my clothes I didn't match like I normally do. I don't like to do navy and black together, even though I wore dark blue jeans. I had a black t-shirt on and wore a gray unlined jacket. My mind got a bit chaotic when I realized that I had misinterrupted the message from the sun. It was cold not warm and found myself trying to walk in the sunny side of the street. Serenity is always the solution for me. The Serenity Prayer allows me to pause and look at where I am at, look at what I am doing, and look to see if I need to change my mind and/or head in a new diection. I generally say it at the elevator on my floor if I am a rush in the morning. I ended up saying at the bottom on the first floor today instead of the top.

Mom used to like a song that had a line in it "just direct your feet to the sunny side of the street" She claimed that was a positive attitude song. I went for a check up to my cancer oncologist and was wearing a button down flannel shirt with the surgical bra. I looked real masculine like a lumber jack or something. She told me I could go back to "women's clothes" and I gave her a big hug. When you are forced to wear stuff you don't really like it does change your attitude. I never liked having to wear a uniform either. When you have on clothe that you know match and look good it does make you feel good!!! Just As Bunnypie Sees It

Smiling, I was looking at a lumberjack styled shirt the other day, I think they are suppose to be in style this year. I like plaid and checks if they aren't gawdy, but some are gawd awful! I like wearing shirt open though over a t-shirt, like you would a jacket. They aren't so heavy and if it is cold, you can put a coat over them.

Hi Jo---Gawd Awful Ugly is a perfect way to say it!!! My hair is barely long enough to comb yet! I am still wearing hats all the time and wearing a lumber jack style shirt is like throwing gas on a bonfire!!! LOL Gawd Awful Ugly is a great way to describe it!!! I am able to struggle into an over the head nite shirt but taking it off is a real wrestling match......Sorry! too much information? ?-------Bunnypie

Actually, I saw a lumberjack shirt in the window of a shop at the mall today. I was showing my friend, going to go back and see how much it costs. It was burgandy, gray, white and black plaid. I like wearing them as a jacket over a t-shirt with my jeans. When it is cold, I can put something heavier over it. With my arthritis, I have to put on a sport bra by stepping into it and pulling it up because I often can't put it on over my head when my arthritis is bad. I have to push it down and step out of it to take it off. My body has been swelling and I have ridges in my skin from the seams in my pants and socks. My body is a bit chaotic tonight, generally do 2 days and crash, today I have been busy from Monday-Friday, and tomorrow I should go grocery shopping.

I have to use the slogan Live & Let Live on the lumber jack look. I think I look horrible in it but someone else might like it and and think it looks good. I think an earring in the lip, eyebrow, or nose is disgusting but others seem to think it looks good again the slogan Live & Let Live.....Baffled Bunnypie

Agree about the piercing. Sadly, it is a sign of self abuse more than a thing of beauty. For the most part, I find them gross, especially the ones around the mouth and then they use their tongue to play with it. I can see the belly button, but just one please. LOL! The nose is so unsanitary, snot what I would like personally!
