The body shop that is working on a scrape on my car has to keep it for an extra week to ten days. They claim they can't get the part or exact matching paint to finish the job. I think it is extremely rude and ignorant to leave me stranded without a car for that extra amount of time. I will be polite and call there today to see how the car is progressing. I will politely ask if they are going to deduct $50 a day off the cost of the repair for their mistake! It will cost $50 a day to get a rental car or be stranded. It will be interesting to see if that makes the repair faster!!!!!!-----Polite Inquiry Bunnypie

Sorry to hear you are carless. I always say, "What you give out you get back." That is why I try not to go the way of rude and remember a little manners go along way." Then there is setting boundaries, simply stated is much better than being rude and sarcastic, disrespects me and others. I had to pray and ask for my sarky tongue to be healed.

Hi Jo----I lost my courage to call the garage. I don't want them to take it out on my car! It is rude and aggravating to have them tell me one thing and then do something else. I will just have to be patient and wait and wait and wait....Disgusted Bunnypie

It is true, hope you didn't put your money up until the job is done. As I often say, "It isn't so much what we say, it is how we say it." I know for me, I have to back off until suh a time as I can say things politely and assertively, without being rude and aggressive.
