Today is election day for a new president. Everyone in the USA is going to have to have a sense of humor no matter which way it ends up. On a personal note I need to have a sense of humor when I go to the surgeon's office today to get my bandages changed. I have lymph nodes removed from my left arm pit and it has been painful and I have not been allowed to use deodorant. I was thinking of bringing in a petition of 50 people requesting that I can use deodorant but I don't know if the surgeon would see the humor in that?  ??  I know I will lose my sense of humor when they go to pull these bandages off!!!  If you hear howls of pain at 3pm this afternoon you will know that is me getting my bandages changed!!!-------Bunnypie |

It was suggested to me that I use baking soda instead of deodorant. I didn't take their advice, just washed before I went for my mammogram.
It takes a sense of humour to even think of voting, either parties in the lead seem like a big joke to me. I have to admit, that Trump is The Joker, and what he has to say is a joke. Politicians never keep their promises anyway, so why listen to the words they have to say. Look at the person, do they walk their talk. Apply the program and see if any of the choices are walking anything close to a 'good' program. So many qualify for the 12 Steps, but don't walk them. I wasn't happy with our Canadian election. I look at a persons' eyes to see what kind of story they are truly saying.

Hi Jo---I read a Quote by former President Reagan and he said "humor is a coping mechanism" I really like that! It has been a real mud slinging contest between Trump & Clinton. I have seen ads that say if Hillary can't satisfy her husband how can she satisfy a whole country? I have heard it said that Trump wants to build a wall to keep out the Mexicans but who does he think is going to be building the wall? (Mexican Labor) It is going to be very interesting to see who wins this election and I hope the joke won't be on the American people!!!-----Bunnypie

My ex-boyfriend used laughter as a defense to cover up his pain. Hubby #2 did the same thing. Having Trump as President is a laugh and a half, I hate to see what will become of the world. I hope I am wrong, but didn't like the guy since I saw him years ago when he was part of Miss Universe. His track record is not good. It is sad that you only had those two to choose from.

Donald Trump does have a sense of humor. When he did his acceptance speech he said "I know some of you didn't vote for me" It was like 50%!!!! He did say he would try to bring unity and make everyone be 100% united. At least he is aware that half the people didn't like him or vote for him. Just have to see what happens......
