Wednesday November 16th, 2016 Chip Responsible/Irresponsible

I have an appt. to go to the surgeon's office and get my bandages & stitches checked and changed. I have tried to be responsible and keep them changed and clean. I don't want to be irresponsible and cause an infection or tear the stitches out. It has been uncomfortable and painful especially ripping the tape off to change the bandages. The tape hurts worse then the incisions do!!! I am hoping that I have followed directions and been responsible so the nurse/doctor will say that I am healing. The next phase is to set up radiation treatments for the next few months. I have to be responsible and go to them to keep my recovery of cancer going on. It seems to go on & on!!!-----Bunnypie

In today, because of my fibromyalgia and my memory and health, I say God willing, when I try to promise to be somewhere or do something at a certain date. Like today, I didn't operate very well on 3 hours sleep, but forunately, my God helped me by having my friend discharged and me not having to stay over at her place for two days.

If we are not responsible, big messes can be a result.

Sorry you were only able to rack up 3 hours sleep! Please try to get some more if you can. I have broken sleep of a few hours here and there because of having to get up and take a pee. I made it to my appt. and was told I am healing nicely. I still get flashes of pain and the bandages were all removed. It feels a lot better without them!!!------Bunnypie

Wasn't very responsible today, didn't make it to my home group. Was just feeling to sick to go. Glad you got your bandages off.

Hey Jo----I think you are responsible! If you are sick you should stay home and rest. You don't want to get sick in public and maybe fall or end up stranded somewhere cause you can't move. When I don't feel good the best place for me is at home!
