I have a lot of tape scum marks from all the changing of bandages. I am stubborn about getting them cleaned off cause it looks terrible!!! The nurse told me to use vaseline to see if that works. I was using rubbing alcohol and it didn't work! I am willing to try it and see what happens. My skin is all red with adhesive marks and soap and water isn't doing it!!! Looks like both sides of this chip will be taking turns today!!!  |

Have had a few ecgs, sleep tests, etc. that involve monitors being put on and they leave adhesive marks behind. I have had to really scrub and many times, it had to wear off.
I am more willing than stubborn. I seldom dig in my heels and say "won't" these days. I am open to change. Just because it worked before, doesn't mean it will work in today.

The medical people don't care that you have to live with adhesive marks and magic marker autographs. I had 2 different doctors put their initials on me in purple marker before I had surgery. I felt like a d**n groupie who had rock stars autographing my breast!!! Those took approx. 2 weeks of scrubbing to wear off!!!! I know I sound like I need to have some cheese with this whine!!! It just aggravates the hell out of me. You sound like you are open minded to try different things and that is really good. I just get stubborn, aggravated, and want to b*tch about it......Bunnypie
