I found a pair of shoes that were cute and a good price. The store didn't have my size but said they could special order and ship them to my door. I was polite and filled out the papers and waited 4 days for them to be delivered. When they came they were the wrong size!!! I hate doing stuff by mail order and wanted to call and yell at the people in the store. There were directions in the box that I have to either ship them back or go to the store in person. It is such a pain in the A$$ to go thru all this and I think it is really rude of them to advertise that they have something and then put me thru 10 miles of sh*t to get it done. I will have to find a polite way to go back to the store and tell them I want my $ back and put these shoes where the sun don't shine!!!!----Bunnypie

Polite would be good. Sounds like a lessoned learned. I don't do mail order or internet shopping. Just because there is a size on the article, doesn't mean it is made in the same shape as others of the same number. I need to try things on because my body is not normal. Because of my diabetes, I have a pot that I can't get rid of and have to my mind a flat a$$, something I always wanted was a much more curvy one. Acceptance is the key. I have long skinny leg, and the boobs are just not where they use to be. It may be rude and too much information, but I hate bras and when my body swells, they cause me just too much pain. I generally where a shirt under a shirt. If I wear a bra, it is because it is a courtesy to others other than a vanity thing of mine to put the girls up where they are suppose to be. Polite is always good, there is no excuse for rudeness. The customer is always right they say, but to my way of thinking, the customer needs to get with the program. The server is a human too, just trying to do their job. The powers that be, the head honchos are the ones who really need a program. Many qualify, but don't make it!

Hey Jo----great minds think alike! I won't go out in public bra-less. I try to look presentable when I go somewhere. At home is another story! The first thing to come off if the shoes and the bra. I like to be comfortable when I am at home. Sales people and cashiers are people I try to be polite to unless they get nasty or pushy. I realize that they are only doing their job. If they get nasty or pushy I will get nasty and pushy right back at them!!! YES! a 12 step program would benefit soooooooooo many people!!!------Bunnypie

I always say a bra stops the circulation to my brain. I wear a body shirt under my tops when I can. If I have to wear a bra, I wear one. Sometimes I just don't care, I just let them be, and if someone has a problem with it, it is their problem and they will have to deal with it.

Hi Jo---The surgeon and the nurses told me to wear a bra 24/7 to take the stress off of the stitches. I can only do that for so long. It is a catch 22. It is uncomfortable to wear it and is uncomfortable to not wear it. I am going to be so d**n happy when I heal up totally and not have the pulling and stinging feeling. When I wear a bra for too long it is a strangling feeling and I can't wait for the feeling of being released. Kinda like d**ned if you do and d**ned if you don't!!!------Bunnypie

The only kind I wear now is sports bras. When my arthritis is bad, I step into it and pull it up, because I can't put my hands up over my head. I have them in beige and black. They keep the girls still and are much more comfortable for me, not so many lines to leave marks in my skin when my whole body swells. They say, no pain no gain, but putting up from a bra is ridiculous.

Hey Jo---that is great that you found a way to get into a bra without having to lift your arms and go thru pain. Mom always use to say "find a way or make a way" The nurses and surgeon wanted me to wear button down the front blouses and even night shirts. It drove me crazy trying to match up buttons & holes!!! I am real impatient and clumsy. I have found a way to get into over the head tops and night shirts real slow and at an angle. I think of what Winston Churchill said "I don't care how you do it! you must sink the Bismark!"-------Bunnypie
