The thing that I have procrastinated on the most is taking that next drink or drug. There is nothing so bad that a drink or drug won't make it worse. My sobriety is very important to me and I tell myself "I will drink or use over that later not now" It has worked for over 32 years! I try to do it when it comes to laundry or going to a meeting. I know it will be a good thing if I just Do It!!!------Bunnypie

They say that procrastination is a 5 syllable word for sloth. Sloth is such a nasty word and conjures up such a vivid picture in my mind. That is often how I feel about myself when I put things off, because I know that things are not any better, if I put them off. They grow in stature and become a burden, like my laundry, trying to fit it on my walker and we are suppose to only do 2 loads during the day, so I go after hours when no one is around.
Housing finally put on a door opener at the laundry room, so you don't have to wrestle with your laundry, trying to get in the door. I don't know who thought of it, but thanks to them, laundry is much easier for me to do. They procrastinated about it for a long time unless someone finally had the idea and the did it, but that doesn't sound like Housing. LOL!
All I can say is that I am more aware when I am doing it, and don't do it as often as I use to. I am a work in progress when it comes to this and God and I are working on it.

There is an actual animal called a sloth and he sleeps like 20 hours a day!!! I don't like to do laundry because I have to climb up and down 15 stairs. I am always glad when I it is done cause I do like clean clothes and clean sheets & towels.
