The attendance at this meeting has dropped considerable. Some weeks i have one person and some weeks nobody shows. on a GOOD night 2 show up.
Is it the topics? is it the time? Do you REALLY WANT THIS MEETING? if not, I can certainly find something to do with my time. believe it or not, I do take time to pick topics i think folks will get some good out of...i take the time to psot them and often even send email reminders.
I'll give it a couple more weeks and see if the attendance improves. If it's still 2 or 3 of us there, I'll probably cancel the Sunday night meeting.

(((Lin))) I know how hard you work at providing us with a good ACOA meeting. You put a lot of yourself into service work for this group. You have always made me feel welcome at the ACOA meetings even though I am NOT ACOA. There have been more times than enough that your topics have been exactly what my HP wanted me to hear about. I have no other suggestions for you. (Except, maybe to try piggy backing the Alanon meeting onto yours again or vice versa? and I would be willing to commit to that meeting again.) You can't drag people kicking and screaming into a meeting and with the nicer weather coming attendance may only get worse. Search your heart and listen for your HP's Voice. You will do what is right for yourself. If the Sunday night meetings were to end that would be a loss for the entire group. On the other hand, maybe HP has other plans for all of us? Whatever happens Lin. A BIG BIG thankyou from me for your service work, your help and for being a good friend to me. Give yourself a big hug from me. HUGS DonnaE
