I've tried finding any topic covering security/insecurity in my books with no success. Would that topic be under another name? If not, does anybody know of any source? I know insecurities exist in abundance, but if I were to believe what I read, then I'm the only one who is insecure(stemming from childhood). Does anyone have any personal ESH about insecurity?

Thank you for sharing this. When I went to see an intuitive healer on a talk show, she said that our insecurities made themselves known in our feet. This is something I need to look at too, because I have been battling swollen feet for three years.
It is not only to do with our childhood, but our own insecurities within ourselves. For me, it is my low self-esteem since I put on weight as a result of depression and swelling, not only in my feet, but my whole body.
Insecure at the moment about my ability to go back to school, although I have done it before. My biggest fear is the inability to retain information due to my fibromyalgia.
My Thesauru also uses words as worried, anxious, afraid, exposed, vulnerable, wide-open, unprotected, and unsafe, which covers a lot of territory.

Hi adagio,
Glad to hear from you. Insecurities? I would probably look at fear (s) , since the root of our insecurities are all based in fear. Fear of what will be, fear of the lack of, fear of abuse, fear of loss.... take you pick. Insecurities for me I find is a personal afront something that I "THINK" will change my life usually in some detrimental way. So the way way I handle it is to to change my thought process. What is REAL and what is FANTASY ? When I see what is real then I can have options how to handle the situation. For example If I felt insecure because of physical abuse ... that is real.... the I have choices..... call the police.... move.... go to a shelter.... get a restraining order and so on.
Another reason for insecurities is could be because you feel less than. For me I had insecurities about money and finances. I learned and became more knowledgeable in those areas. Now I am secure in the financial descions that I make. If you can pin point where the insecurity is then you most likely can build up you strength in that area.
Another reason for insecurities is projecting. This was a big one for me. "What is going to happen? What IF.....?" The only way I have found to deal with projecting is don't do it. Easier said then done. Try to stay in the here and now and focus your world one one day or a relative short time frame , what ever you can handle.
Insecurities mean that we don't feel safe or unsure of ourselves or our surroundings. Find the cause and you will find the cure. Please note these are just my humble opinions, take what you need and leave the rest.
Love & God Bless Arlene
