Just because I make a mistake, doesn't mean I am one.

Things brings to mind how many pencils I use to have, all at once on my desk. Couldn't stand them the least bit dull. Never worried about the eraser, liked white out, I could write over my mistakes. I think I was prepared to make mistakes, but not accepting of them. The old tape from my mother would run, "If you can't do it right, don't do it at all." Either I didn't or I did, and did, and did, until it was right. So much time wasted and replayed. It is me that pushed the play button on the recorder. It is better to press delete instead of rewind.

The lot few words are the wisdom I need today.
When it comes to playing old tapes, it is ME that pushes the play button I am given the option to rewind or delete .
