U is for Understanding. We need to learn to understand ourselves. This program is a gift that keeps on giving. We need to learn to understand our disease. We find out that it is cunning, baffling and powerful. We need to come to an understanding as to who God is to us. God is an old tape. A God that was according to other peoples' beliefs. We had to make God personal.  |

V is for Victory. Victory over my disease (dis-ease) one day at a time. When I put my life into my God's Care, I know that I don't have to use in today. The Good Orderly Direction is there if I choose to use it.  |

W is for Willing. Willing to work my program. When I have an attitude problem or if the ego get a little too big for it's britches, it is time to get to a meeting.  |
