This is from today's Just for Today reading. The last line stood out for me. Unity is one for all and all for one, at least to my way of thinking. We are made up of many, who become the part of the whole.
It doesn't mean we try to be all alike. We each have to find a program that works for us. The nice thing is that in our differences, we learn from each other. Carry the message of recovery, not the messenger. Carry the message, but don't carry the mess.

Unity is so important. Distention in a group breaks up a group into people against people, instead of people sticking together for the Higher Good of the group. Together we stand and when you think that each person has their God with them, a meeting is a very powerful thing.

Heard many years ago, "How do you start a new group." With a coffee pot and a resentment.

Planting the seed of recover
Thank you for letting me plant the recovery seed, but where your heading is not for me.
Should you ever wish to be a friend, i'll think about it and consider letting you in.
This recovery thing is not what you see its what you dont that gets the keys.
But if you want to think again, just remember i called you a friend.
When you turned your back on me, i still defending you on my knees.
Then you left with other friends, that dont use the principles of our friends.
13th, 14th, 15th stepping i think its time you started again, cut your losses before the fall, soon you'll find out their not friends at all.
All we can do is plant the seed some of us actually want recovery.
