V is for Vanity. When there is vanity, there is generally pride too. They can be false. Vanity generally makes us think we are better than others. We don't walk behind or in front of anyone, we walk beside them and call them friend.

W is for Winners. I was told to stick with the winners. My first spiritual adviser said, "Anyone who stays sober for one day is a winner." It is important for me to be around people who want to stay sober. If someone is drunk you can't talk to them, they seldom remember talking to you the next day. Spend time with those who want recovery and share how they to can win sobriety for themselves.

X is or X-ray. Take a look at the inside, does it match the outside. In today, I think my inside is in better shape than the outside, though the surgeon las week didn't agree.

Y is for Yellow. Yellow is a caution sign. Don't be complacent or allow your sobriety slip from your mind and you find it unimportant. Recovery is a daily thing. We have daily reprieve one day at a time.

Z is for Zzzzzzzs. If I think about it, I can think up a good reason to have a snack. Instead of honey, or some other kind of food, I can think on feeding my spirit, it is not as fattening.
