Hi Lala,
Happy to have you here.....your in the right place
Let me share some of the things the old-timers taught me. They were great on telling *what do do*!
If the obsession get's too bad, get a milkshake. I guarantee that will take away the desire to drink for a few hours....give's you time to contact your sponsor or an AA contact.
Keep repeatiing to yourself "and this too shall pass" when you get the thought of a drink or any crazy thoughts.....I promise you, they will pass.
Ask a HP of your understanding to keep you sober each morning.
Make 90/90 f2f meetings
Remember DINAO - Drinking is *not* an option....no matter what you feel or think.
In one of Bill Wilson's talks, he said "AA is a program for the moment"....stay in the *now*
In closing, don't BS yourself that you can have another drink and come back to AA when your ready to sober up again....it don't work that way!
The revolving door in and out of AA is the worst kind of exsistence....when were drinking, we feel guilty and wish we were at an AA meeting. When we are in AA, we wish we were drinking.....we are never satisfied where we are and who we are....I know! - been there and done that.
It's "normal to be "mixed up whan you come off alcohol but "this too shall pass" *if* you hang in there.
If I can stay sober,..........so can YOU!
Luv.......Tiger

Dear Lala,
Good advice from Tiger, may I add drink lots of water to flush out the toxins in your body, plus ask your doctor about taking Vitamin B compound. It is a vitamin very much needed by people new to recovery. If you can't get a lot of sunshine, get some Vitamin C too.
Crying is good, in fact that was one of the difficult parts of recovery for me. When I was 21 my husband told me to quit crying that I used my tears as a weapon, so I did. It took a lot of time and a lot of recovery for those tears to come back. Tears are very healing and a great way of cleansing the Soul.
