STEPS ONE, TWO, AND THREE
The liar in her terror wants to fill up the void with anything. Her lies are a denial of her fear; a way of maintaining control.]
- Adrienne Rich
Our fear is like the first title in a string of dominoes. Our denial of fear cause us to lie, to cheat, and to become people we don't even respect in order to maintain our illusion of control. We lie because we are fearful, and we are fearful because we lie. It is a circular process and we feel stuck in the middle of these raging feelings.
What a relief it is to admit our fears? What a relief it is to admit that we are powerless over our fears and they are making our life unmanageable! This opens the door to admit that if we return to our inner process, our power greater than ourselves, we can feel sane again.
All of us ae afraid sometimes, that's human. When our life is ruled by fear, that's addiction.
- Anne Wilson Schaef
Anything that comes between me and God, becomes the god of my life and I give up my power, and empower the person, place or thing that has become the center of my obsession, compulsion, and my being. It stands in the way of the person my Creator wants me to be. I am Co-Creator of my own Universe, and when I am caught up in fear, I lose the power to create and live my own life.

When you close down you isolate your Spirit. You not only shut down the negative, you block the goodness from your life. That is why they say keep an open mind. I believe there is a positive and negative in EVERYTHING. THAT means I need to get honest about where I am in my program. Am I willing to go to any lengths to look within to see what part of me needs to be changed in today.
