Please pray for 20 year old daughter Christine. She is a "recovering" heroin addict, on methadone. She lives home with me and she recently found out she is expecting a baby. I have mixed emotions, sad, joyful, worried. But I know with God all things are possible, I am trying to keep it simple and one day at a time. Otherwise I may go bananas. (I guess I need prayer too, mostly for the baby.) I have gotten alot of different views on this, but I must seek God, I know that He needs to be in control of this whole situation. I was really blessed in church today when I spoke to my pastor's wife. She encouraged me that we will believe in faith that God will keep the baby healthy. She knows alot about these situations, her parents have adopted many border babies and run a nursery for them also. She shared that one of her adopted sisters' mom OD'd twice in her last month and now the child is 12 years old and is healthy and happy and I just praise God that no matter what, He is a loving and good God. Lots of Love to you all. Joyfully His, Janis color=Blue]TEXT[/color]

Dearest Janis,
I have added Christine and your family to my prayer list. Letting go and letting God is the only choice, for our addicted loved ones. We can't control someone else's life or the events that go on within it, God has a plan and our job is to stay out of HIS way. Peace on the journey and continue to take care of you.
Hugs, ~SG~
