V is for Victory. We are given daily reprieve from this insidious disease contingent on our spiritual condition. We do not have to use, just for today. We are given victory over our addition. The drug is but symptom of our disease. The problem is me. I can change me either the aid of my 12 Step.

We is for Will. My God's Will not mine. I am willing to go to any length to maintain my sobriety (soundness of mind). I can't, my God can and will guide me in my recovery I just have to remember to ask.

X is for X-ray. At several hours of them on Friday. An in-depth look at my circulation. They say to go with the flow, not easy to do with my body.🙂

Y is for Yet. You have not done it yet, keep using people,places, and things you will find yourself there if you haven't done the steps yet, you are setting yourself for relapse.

B is for Boundaries. Place them, adjust them, rebuild them, affirm them, and do what ever it takes to maintain them.

C is for caution. We work this program one day at a time.. when we stay in our past and not let it go we are setting ourselves up for relapse. If we project into the future and build castles of air for our pink cloud, we are setting ourselves up to go back out and do some more research.

D is for Detachment. We detach be side we love, but we need to love ourselves more and practice self care. We don't take on what is not ours, we stop enabling and allow others to follow their path. They have a God and we aren't it.

E is for Enjoy. You have been given a seEond chance at life so why not take time to enjoy it. Don't get caught up in busy learn how to play.😍

F is for Frustration. Don't let those little things get to you. Don't sweat the small things. So they say, they also say, 'How important is it?'. Compared to my serenity getting frustrated doesn't seem worthwhile.

G is for Growth. We grow mentally emotionally physically and spiritually. They can grow a not-so-good way by eating through our emotions. This can lead to another addiction.
Meditation is a good way to grow spiritually.

H is for help. Go to be afraid to reach out and ask for IT. The first step you have to take on your own. The rest of the steps and traditions we will help you with.

Don't compare. You might not have done it yet, but hopefully you don't have to go there if you identify with the feelings.

J is for Just. Just for today you don't have to use. Just do it,! It may only be suggestions, but some are darn well betters, or you will set yourself to use. JUST for today, I choose not to use.

K is for Kindle. Kindle your relationships with your mother and kin. That is an old saying from somewhere but then I am old and learned it from my kin. Wrap them up with love and kindness.:-D

L is for Little. Little things can add up to big things, like a smile or two, a thank you or a How do you do. They may seem little to you,. If they can be a big something to someogne else.

M is for More. My drug of choice was more the concept of one or two never entered my head. There was no thought of having none. More of what I am having, more of what I can talk you out of, and more of anything that comes my way, it doesn't have to be my drug of choice. I
My name is Caressa and I am an addict and my drugs of choice are pills, alcohol, food, men/relationships, games, computers/cell phones, etc.

N is for Needs. Our God meets our needs, .sometimes our wants and our desires too. Do we reach out to the Universe to see what you get back. Do you petition for specific s or do we test Him ti know what is best. Do we give thanks or do we them and your God for granted.

O is for Onward,. As we move onward through the Steps, we can s3e that there is a Power working in our life, doing for us what we couldn't do before. It doesn't matter what you call this power as long as it isn't you according to a past service sponsor. I choose to call it God, shorter than Higher Power.
