I jsut heard on TV that parts of Florida and the Bahamas are in for another Hurricane. I pray the people listen and get out of the way in time. I pray nobody is killed this time. Many of us have loved ones in Florida. I pray we can find peace and remember GOD is with them.

I pray that all the people that lives in Flordia are safe and sound, and that there is miminmal damage done by the powerful hurricane.

keeps me humble that's for sure. you have to admire those people. they stay down there despite the bad weather. here in ILL. we get the tornadoes. they usually don't cause the overall damage like a major hurricane.
u know, we r at r best when, things r bad. that's what gives me hope. u c people all come together to help one another and as long as we all do that, i beleive we do as God would want us to do

I got an e-mail from a friend in Florida urging everyone to donate to the Red Cross and Catholic Charities. This takes care of the poor with no insurance, and meets people's immediate needs for food & shelter, until FEMA and Insurance can help out. Since Ivan and other hurricanes are far-reaching, we would be helping people from other areas too.
