Hi Pat,
I am sorry to hear the news of your results. I can't add anymore things to what Lildee said on how to keep finding something that is good for you in trying to get better. Never give up is the main key, and know that you have the support that you need here, and in the hands of your angels and God too. My prayers are with you always. take care.

Dear pat,
I am so sorry you got those results from the test. It's never easy to hear we or a loved one has a serious illness. I always try to remember that the doctors today know so many ways to help us and give us relief and help us improve. "graced" is a walking example. When hers was not in remission I remember how often she'd say "never give up..it may be 5 minutes before the miracle". She got her miracle. I pray you get yours too.

Thank you. I'm going for a 2nd opinion and taking my grown daughter who hires personel for most the area hospitals. If I forget a question or don't listen well, I am sure she will pick up on it.

That's anexcellent idea, Adagio. When my mom went to the oncologist she always took me along to have a second set of ears to hear what he was saying. I'm sure so many things are in your head and heart right now. And I'm glad you are ging for a second opinion. That never hurts.
God bless you! My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Hi Adagio, I have just recently "walked the walk" so "I can talk the talk" In January, 2004 I was diaognosed with a 11.2 centimeter cancer in my groin. It is normal to be afraid and I was but I followed the doctor's instrutions (6 sessions of chemotherapy followed by 22 radiations treatments) I practiced the principles I have learned in this program to "get through" starting with "living in the now"....I didn't project....took it a day at a time. I had faith that the God which kept me sober would see me through. In addition, I had many people praying for me.......God does answer prayers! Today, the cancer is gone and the prognosis is good! Hang In There - This Too Shall Pass Keep The Faith! - miracle will follow miracle - because God *does* answer prayers!!!! Hang In There.........Tiger

Thanks everybody! I'm doing fine. I went for the 2nd opinion and the doctor went along with the first doctor's diagnosis. The 2nd opinion dr. also said that I was in stage 0, but I'm waiting until Tuesday to hear it from the original doctor...I'm sure it's the same though. One thing that I found to my dismay is that most of my family and my husband's family don't think that I have much of anything. I thought this over and decided to go to the dr. alone so that I can ask him about diets, herbs, etc...anything to make me healthier. Since I made up my mind on that, I have felt as if a big weight has been lifted off me...I can concentrate on my meditation, etc. and don't have to waste time defending myself! So, with stage 0, I can go for years without treatment, if my doctor agrees that I'm in that stage.....and I can think clearer now about my own health. ((((((((HUGS to everyone!!)))))

This is new to me. I never heard of a stage zero. But it sounds like you ahve a handle on taking care of yourself. We cant always get family members to accept we are sick, or to react like we think they should.
Be sure to led your HP hold your hand when you get scared.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Thanks for the update!

.... some times for family to believe were sick we have to be laying in bed half dead if you know what i mean glad your on the right track with taking care of you keep the faith love tired I know exactly what you mean! But, good thing I remember my sponsor's words. In AA, they were told not to get mad at people and go get drunk at them. In my case, don't get mad at people and die at them. Well, hope you know what I'm talking about. Just don't prove that I'm sick by trying to be sicker...and never mind what they think. And thanks for the words.

Sounds good to me my friend, picking up never helps anything, and certainly not doing it because of someone else.
I pray that the White Light of Love will surround you and give you the healing and the comfort that you need.
