I is for Understanding. The God of your own understanding. God is an old tape. He/She is who others told you about Him/Her. You need to build a relationship with the God of your understanding.

V is for Vital. Meetings are vital to recovery. The 12 Steps are a vital part of the program. The literature is a vital tool to help you recognize your disease and help you discover what you need in order to recover.

W is for Want. We don't always get what we want, but we get what we need. Sometimes, if our wants are for our Higher Good, they will be granted and given to us, maybe not the we envisioned things. What you put out you get back. Be careful of what you wish for.

X is for X-ray. Take a look inside. Remove those blinders, barriers, snd boundares. Look at what habits, behaviours, ideas, concepts, etc. which no longer serves you in today.
What would your x-ray reveal to you that may be open to change.

Y is for You. Only you can determine whether you are an alcoholic or an addict. Only you can recover, you can't get it by osmosis. You have to be willing within yourself to want to change and do the do things to find sobriety. You have to find a program that works for you..

Z. Is for Zero. When we got bottom, we have p probably tried many ways to control or stop using our drug of choice. When we relapse we best our selves up or try to justify our using.
Every time I picked up, I lost a little piece of me. There wasn't much left of me when I walked through the doors oof rrcovery. The first time I walked through the doors of recovery, I h as d no recognition for myself.
