It's Wednesday Dec 28. The accident was Dec. 16. I got three cracked ribs. Very painful ...slightly better some of the time but still hurts when I do things like get out of bed in the morning. The Guy who ran the red light had insurance. Yesterday they paid us over $38,000. We paid $40,000 over two years ago. It only had 6000 miles on it. We looked at a new red Santa Fe and a new tan Santa cruz. Today we will go back and drive them and decide, Both are pretty colors and lots of extras. Today I also see the trauma surgeon again. It is amazing that they settles so quickly. 16 to 27...11 days. Within those days two Saturdays. two Sundays. Christmas holiday and a snowstorm. Later they will deal with OUR insurance for the ambulance, wrecker, storage, catscans, ER charges,doctor appointments, etc.
