Salutations!
we had an upsetting challenge yesterday. The car dealer sent us a license plate and registrations. But we have two handicap veteran tags. And one was supposed to transfer to the new vehicle. Instead they sent us a regular one. We called and then went all the way to teh dealer. Mike was so made he told the man if you cant figure this out you can just give us back our $49,000 and we will go somewhere else and buy a car. What they figured out was the did register our new one with handicap but didnt send us the registration papers. The new plate and registration was on the one that was totaled. The one we already signed over the the other insurance. They cant fix it. I will have to go to the courthouse Monday and straighten it all out. Otherwise the state will think we still have the car with no insurance on it and also charge us tax on it We weere both fit to be tied!

Sis was to come come today. Was so looking forward to seeing her cuz I hadn't seen her since before Christmas. Got up showered fed the cats and got the coffee pot ready. I texted her and her response was disappointing. She is still having GI issues. The same GI issues her daughter and I have been begging her to get addressed for so very long. She made the appointment, got test scheduled only to cancel the day of the test so here she is still having issues. I'm a bit put out with her. She saw me at my worst when I was so sick with GI issues that made my weight plummet, yet here she is still putting stuff off.
I will see her Monday and will try to have a loving come to Jesus talk with her.
I left Christmas stuff up just for her but I had to start taking some down and get some semblance of order back. The containers are all out in the shed and I am in no big hurry to have them dragged in. If I did it would bug me until I got them all packed and the way the weakness and tiredness still hits me it is ok to just pile them up for now. My goal was to get to be able to draw my blinds at nite again. That is enough for now.
So... need to share a funny... Even being sick there are some things that still have to be taken care of like paying bills. So I go into my bank account and just go down the list and pay. I am trying to streamline and get thigs easier so I see Amazon bill pay and Amazon Card services. I googled to get a number to call...jump thru hoops and a screen poops up..."Customers get a quicker response by gong to "Pissed Consumer.com." Seriously...It it me funny, I started laughing and couldn't stop.
no truer words were ever spoken when sick and frustrated. They have o idea how that made my day. I felt so bad for so long it felt so good to laff.
The inspection for the house is Monday but that is the same time I will be taking Sis to her first appointment with the prosthetic doctor at the cancer center. Realtor will be patched in nd will keep me in the loop.
I was so grateful to get a call from the inspector's office. It was a bit confusing for me so they reached out to double check and as a result the call is saving me several hundred dollars.
we have had so many cold wet days today the sun is trying to shine. That in itself is a spirit lifter. We still need more to get more snow and or rain to get out of the danger zones of the drought but I love the sun even if just for a brief little while.
So...fluttering slow but sure and as Confucius said..."It doesn't matter how slow you go as long as you don't stop."

What a wonderful long post! So good to catch up with you. I did the same abotu Christmas stuff. The totes were out in the shed neaarly empty so i DID bring them in. I filledone every 8 hours or so for a couple of days until I got 5 filled. I kept them in the den and when I had them all for the inside I called my young friend Amber to come carry it all out. We also took down the front yard while she was here. It was only about 20 minutes or so and all put up until next year!
Tomorrow I will go to teh courthouse and try to get that license plate registration removed from our name before we get into trouble for having a vehicle wiht no insurance. Still ticked that they put a vehicle in our name that was totally wrecked. Trying hard to rememerb"people make mistakes" When we went to the dealer Friday afternoons we should have looked for the sign on the door for "pissedconsumer office". That's as good one!
Off to church now. LIN

Sis has one more surgery to do what they refer to as a flap reduction. This is so that when they place the prosthetic it does not appear to be one eye bulging and the other not.
They gave her 3 options. I take her back in Feb when both doctors will be together and everyone will be on the same page.; She is so ready to find her new path
She was over here on Thursday and it was her birthday. It was a good day. My sponsor came over for a few minutes while she was here because sis had a little Christmas gift for her. Sis is so very thoughtful that way. In sponsor's card she wrote hw grateful she is that sponsor is helping me.
Estimated time for closing on the house is the 27th. I am so excited. Sure is depressing to see interest rates. Geez! They have it that it feels like what is the use busting but to keep a great credit report.
Meeting one sponcee for brunch today and then anther sponcee is coming over here.
I did get all the Christmas stuff packed and the aid took the containers out to the shed
Episodes of exhaustion and weakness are becoming less, Thank God
