UNICEF PRODUCED THE FIRST CHARITY CHRISTMAS CARD IN 1949. THE PICTURE CHOSEN FOR THE CARD WAS PAINTED BY A 7 YEAR OLD GIRL FROM CZECHOSLOVAKIA. THE CARD WAS OF SOME CHILDREN DANCING AROUND A MAYPOLE.

I can't get teh anagram ones. I guess if I took out my scrabble tiles and fooled with it for a while I could.
I'll ask an EASY one to revive the traffic here.

Dear Lin---I just have to make a side comment on the movie MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET---Maureen O'Hara says to Natalie Wood "FAITH IS BELIEVING WHEN COMMON SENSE TELLS YA NOT TO!!!!" What a great and fabulous marvelous line!!!! I just think that is classic words to live by!!! Just my own opinion!!! Had to throw that in!!! MISTYEVE

Anagram Quotes
See if you can figure out these popular Christmas sayings...
Unscramble the letters in each phrase to reveal it.
1. SU MRCW ISA Y OEWTS IHRYRAEHM 1. We wish you a Merry Christmas
2. RYA E DPWAN PAH ENAY! 2. And a Happy New Year!
3. FEIRSGBAR TESOYHEN HU TNI SETT 3. Chestnuts roasting by the fire
I've always enjoyed word puzzels, but I guess these look easier when you have the answer sitting there with it..... ;D I've always said I'm an odd duck, but I've never watched any of these old Christmas classics. I've caught bits and pieces of them, but just never had any desire to sit down and watch the whole thing.
Peace on the journey, ~SG~
