Rosepedilgirl ? ? and Lildee + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + I chaired this meeting last week and there were 3 or 4 for the meeting, this week 2. - Is this a bad night for this meeting?
- Would it be preferable to have a AA/NA chair for it?
(Any volunteers?)
- Is it to late in the evening for the majority of you?
Time: 9pm eastern ~ 8 central ~ 6 pacific
I would appreciate any suggestions for getting this meeting going again...... Your friend in recovery, Sunnygirl

We had a co-chair volunteer to do the meetings every other week. I'm not sure what has happened to her.
For me it is too late. But most of the other meetings are early, so this one shoudl be good for those who are on the west coast or are night owls. For me. it's too late. I am jsut one person.
I wish i had the solution for you. Glad you are asking for more volunteers, though. We are still in need of a person for Monday and for Tuesday since AJ has a class. Maybe we will get more volunteers foor those nights.
DG>>>it is 9 eastern.
Good luck! LIN

Hi Dg....
The time was.... 9pm eastern ~ 8 central ~ 6 pacific
********************************
Hey Lin,
Thanks for the reply.... I am sending up a prayer for Rosepedilgirl, haven't seen her in a while. I sure hope all is well with her.
I have been to the last two meetings and want to try to make it each week. The 6pm time is usually pretty good for me and the earlier times can get a little tough. A pox on those time zones, they make my life more complicated..... ;D
*********************************
Just as the Marines are looking for a few good men..... EOR is looking for a few good meeting Moderators! I hope someone who is reading this right now, might get inspired and step up.....

I was really looking for a few more responses, if I don't hear from any more of you, I suppose this meeting will be left at the time listed.
I would like to request, Rosepedilgirl and Lildee, let me know for sure that they are still interrested in being the meeting moderators. I will fill in if you can't be there, just give me a little notice. I will also try to support this meeting by showing up.

Hi Sunnygirl, I would love chairing the meetings. Attendence for this meeting has been poor at best. So I am willing and open for all suggestions to make this a sucess. Love always and God Bless Arlene

Evenin Arlene,
Thanks for the quick response....
I will change the meeting schedule to reflect your kind offer, to continue as the chair for this meeting. I think it might be best to just leave the time and the day the same......
The meeting will continue to be "OPEN RECOVERY" so we can reach out to all of the 12-step groups. I think as the meeting continues, it should pick up. I know from experience, it can get discouraging when the turn out is poor, but if we're patient, they will come..... Many thanks to you! ~SG~
