www.ctsn-rcst.ca/Traumaticgrief.htmlGrief is a big part of recovery. So many people have been diagnosed with depression and anger issues, given medication to 'fix' the problem, when in truth, it is all part of natural healing from grief. Denial is a big part of that grief, so along with the inability to be honest, goes additional soul sickness which prolongs the opportunity to let go and heal. I also believe that it also affects the person who has passed on, their soul is unable to be put to rest. Grief is not always about the loss of a person, it is the loss of our best friends "drugs, alcohol, food, money, work, etc." A change in our situation in life, loss of an apartment, a change in environment, a change of an old pattern and way of living, it all causes grief in our lives.

Thanks for the validation. I went to the "doctor" and he asked me a few questions about my situation. After the half hour was up handed me 5 seperate scripts. I told him to shxxx them. I don't need pills, I need to talk, to vent, to release my inner woes. Never saw him again To me this is nothing more than legalized drug dealing. How could he possibly know my circumstances after less than a half hour? BS. Keep these guys.
