"If God seems far away, who moved?' - Anonymous
We have searched near and far to find a relationship with God. We have spent hours listening to speakers and reading books perchance we might find a glimpse of God. We lived our lives as if we lost God. We thought if we searched long enough, we could find Him.
Being in recovery we deal in reality. And the reality is that we were never living with what we had. God is with us now as he always has been. It is us who turned our backs on Him. Our responsibility in life is to keep our conscious contact with our Higher Power free and open. When God seems far away, that contact needs to be renewed.
"When I meditate, pray and keep my inventory current, God is with me because I am with God."
Is God in your life today?

Love that post! I know for my self personally, that whenever I have felt that God is not in my life that it is because I shut the door, and all I need it the willingness to open the door again, if even a little at a time.
Have a save and sober day everybody!
Love,
