Today's reading is about an interesting "experiment" that you can do when you go to your next F2F. Listen to the voices of those speaking. Not so much as to the words they are saying but how they are saying them. The sound and tone of the vioce can reveal the speakers hidden attitudes.
Those who are living the program speak in a tone and manner of confidence, humility and compassion. While those who are still in their unhappiness speak with anger, self-pity and a grim determination.
They way we speak often reveals more than what we say.
"By listening to more than mere words, I can learn much more than words can teach."
Have you really [/i] listened to someone today? Have you read between the lines and looked at their emotions?
