R is for Resentment. I have a doozy!! Ironically, I just got off the phone sharing with a friend as to how to deal with two of hers. I suggested she read How It Works in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, guess I had better do the same.

R is for Rock. I must have a solid foundation to build my recovery on. My rock in today is my Higher Power.

R is for relapse. OK so you've slipped. As the old song goes.... "pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again." Sometimes we have to be shown the hard way through our own errors. So the next time we are faced with a situation we know what to do.

R is for Release. I must release the past. When I hold onto it, I prevent myself from being present in the moment. I must release all feelings that don't belong in the moment in order to heal.

R is for responsibility. Owning up for what is yours and what is not.

R is for Resolve. It takes a lot of resolve to make this program work. If I am not determined and willing to work for it, the program won't work. It works, when you work it!
