U is for Unity. I am not alone, I am part of the whole.
The Unity of Service, Fellowship and working the Steps, keeps me clean and sober (soundness of mind) today.

U is for universal. The program is one that is universal to all. It is not religious it is spiritual. And we are all spirits having a human experience.

U is for unmanageable.
Step One
We admitted we were powerless over _______ (fill in the blank) and our lives had become unmanageable.
Through working these Steps we were given a set of Promises to change our lives forever.
