V is for victim.
Once I felt that I was the victim of this disease, but now I am in control of MY life and my feelings.

V is for Victory. Victory over a disease which is cunning, baffling and powerful. By living one day at a time, I am given a daily reprieve.

V is for Vanity. One of my defects of character that God and I are still working on.

V is for Vintage. I don't look at wine these days, but I do look at how old I am getting. In today I am grateful that I have another day and that I can appreciate the life around me.

V is for Values.
Prior to Program , values were fuzzy and blurred. Now I have a new set of values to live by.

V is for Valley. There are hills and valleys in recovery. The valley is where I find contentment and peace, no longer means the lowest of the low. The hills are not highs that I tumble off of, but peaks in my recovery, challenges to overcome, with tools for a fantastic scenic journey.
