Thank you for choosing to share this. The thought I got was that "Hope" is eternal! Life is everlasting, yet when I was in active addiction, I had no desire to go there and didn't think I would live to be 40.
I didn't know I had hope of a life, let alone one of my own. I always lived my life through other people.

This is an awesome little book.
I liked the reminder at the end of this reading..that i will only be given enough of my recovery as i can handle. it's that saying we have inalanon, "there are no MUSTS". it's like we can do things at our own pace and not get overwhelmed. I worked my 4th step within the first 60 days i was in recovery. But one of my freinds waited 7 years.
This reminder is so similar to a prayer card I have taped to my printer...LORD, help me remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that you and i together can't handle.
