I dont know how to make this a SURVEY...but i am asking...
If a man has an affair or sleeps with a hooker, should he tell his wife? Yes or no.
My answer is YES. I think he is exposing his wife to AIDs, STD and other things and she has the right to know so she can get tested.

Hi Lin, I wish I could remember how to make this a survey for you.. sorry... Deep question... as I have been subject to cheating before when my husband was out there using. It is not a easy thing to answer really since alot of people think that if the wife doesnt' know (or husband) why should they tell them unless they find out.. BUT the right thing for anyone who cheats on a spouse should be person enough to tell the other so they can be tested for whatever. There are too many people that think its ok to do this and play russian roulette with someones life by trying to get away with it to save the consequences on the out come of an affair.

For health reasons I think it is best thatpartners get honest, yet often when in active addiction, honesty is something that is warped by perception and the disease.
For me it is more about my willingness to forgive and live with the infidelity. Personally, I don't feel that I could. I respect myself too much to abuse myself and refuse to let others abuse me.

Being put in this situation myself I wanted to know. Not the gory details of what she did or didn't do, just a simple yes or no would suffice. With that knowledge I could protect myself from any unknown disease like HIV, or STD's. I have been tested a couple of times already and it's no big deal... sign a consent form and a simple blood test. Guess this just comes as part and parcel of living with an "A."

Diseases are a part of society, not just the result of people who drink and drug. Safe sex and living "Good" for God keeps us all clean. A blood transfusion, ear piercing, tattoos, etc. can all bring on Aids, HIV, etc.

I agree that for health reasons, one should know. Doris
