Using Gif's or Images in your posts.....
I am far from being an expert, but the following information
is how I learned to use the little gif and jpg images in my
posts here on the message boards.
PC USERS: To download, right click on the image,
click on the "save picture as" .......
A box will appear "save picture as", choose a file name and
select what file you want to save the picture in.
(mine are saved in the download file, but you can open a new
file for your images if you choose to) When you have selected
what file you want the picture saved in, you will click save.
You CAN NOT post pictures or gifs directly from you download
file. You need a url (address) to post them, I sign onto my
web pages and import the picture to my web site.
My images are located in files on my web pages and I can
import them to EOR just by typing in the url for each
gif or jpg (image)
When I develop pictures that I want to share online,
I have them put the pictures on a disk. This disk can be
downloaded to my computer and shared with family and
friends, by email or I can import them to my web pages
to be shared here at EOR (careful you are sharing them
with the world).
Example:
Example:
It was imported to my web pages and put in my files, it's new address is....
gotosunnygirl.homestead.com/files/Gifs3/purplebfy.gif
When I want to use it I only have to put the brackets
[/img] on either end of it, making sureI am far from being an expert, but the following information

there are no spaces in the url.
Have fun, it just takes a little practice.....
P.S. With this new message board, I've noticed when
you are putting your avatar in your profile, you just need
to put the site address for it. You do not have to put the
{/img] brackets around the addy.
