On Monday the 14th I posted in chipping away section . That day I put a reply to what caressa said. later that same day that reply was gone. I think it's the same day a post by DG in naranon section also disappeared. Do you ahve any idea what happened?

Lin,
I have explained to dg that I have no idea what could have happened to any missing posts. I have not personally deleted anything, and I won't unless Max tells me to (which he hasn't). I know there has been some controversy over copyright, and my only suggestion is that someone inadvertantly deleted some. Rest assured, it was no one here at Monitors and More. Max is currently in the process of determining who all has the control to delete posts so that we can make sure this doesn't happen again.

Good afternoon to you Ladies.....
When I had the admin functions I had the power to
delete, not sure with my global moderator title, I've
never tried.
I can assure Max and everyone here at EOR I have
not deleted any posts on the message boards. I
always felt it best to leave it to Kathleen and now
it is in Shelie and Max's hands.
Then again I always thought it was possible for each
of us to delete our own posts and it could have
happened accidently if you went to to modify it 
It's certainly a mystery but I am not going to lose any
sleep unless the entire site disappears..... ;D

P.S. One other thing Shelie.......
If you and Max want the Global Moderator controls,
help yourself. Other than placing a "sticky" on a
thread here and there, I don't use the majority of
the controls. I do what I can to help around here,
but I am not on a power trip.

Thanks shellie. I know i wrote it and I know i hit POST. But perhaps i hit the instant mesage link and went there before it finishd posting. When I see a new post there I go right to it. That MIGHT be how mine disappeared. I never actually SAW it posted. I jsut know it wrote it and hit it.
I have no powers to delete any posts ut my own. The only ones I have deleted ar the meeting acnnuncements that had no replies. I figurd they were jsut in the way and OLD NEWS.
SG I'm glad you a re back. I've never seen you do any deleting. I am sure it's jsut a fluke. In my case, the missing post might be jsut me navigating in a hurry.

I DID make the post. It was on the board for a long while.. others had posted underneath me and then it was no longer there.
So.. therefore, I know I pressed the right botton and all.
This is the first time anything ever happened to me, so I just took up on it as something amiss.
Thanks again Max and Shelie.
I relize that there are other important things to worry about than a missing post.
I am sorry that I caused any inconvience to you two.

I'm sure that Max has no need, desire, or intention to change any controls you or anyone else may have, and please don't think that I meant to suggest that. What I meant is that we are both still learning our way around the site, and he is not even sure who all has the control to do what, and he has to figure that out to even begin to answer questions about missing posts.
I don't think that anyone deleted anyone else's posts on purpose, if they did it was by accident. I didn't mean to insinuate that.
I am just doing my best to answer questions and alleviate concerns, and let everyone know that I am not in charge of anything except making changes that I am asked to make, which has entailed cleaning up links that don't go anywhere and making schedule changes. I know that Max holds you and your work at EOR in high regards.

I took no offense..... I just thought if someone else
could utilize the global moderator better than I they
were welcome to it. ;D
I know it must be difficult for the two of you .......
Being Mom and Dad for this online recovery family
can be stressful at times..... lol
