B is for BALANCE. I ahve to balance lots of areas of my life...physical, spiritual, emotional, work and play. I also had to find a balance in my character traits...

H is for HOPE. HOPE was what I took away from my very first f2f meeting. I took HOPE that I could find peace and understanding whether the alcoholic was drinking or not.

I may never grow old, and I go kicking and fighting all the way. There is a sense of maturity I have found in recovery, but it has also brought out the child to play, and along with it a sense of knowingness about myself, which makes for a more mature person as a whole.

Time means nothing, this is a one day at a time program. I have twelve years of living just for today, and if I don't practice my program daily, I can lose my quality, then I lose my quantity.
