U is for ... unmanagable.
Step 1 --- We admitted we were powerless over (drugs, alcohol, people , places, things,) that our lives had become unmanagable.
Joe McQ makes reference to the insanity in The Steps We Took.
"One thing that makes us insane is self - especially self - will." Another thing he cites for our insanity is "our blindness to reality."
I am grateful to have God's will in me and not to be blind to the reality of life.

W is for WORK..i ahve two jobs where i work and I lvoe them both. but WORK can also mean WORK i have done on myself...my recovery...working my program. VERY greatful!

Y is for YEARS. Those ODATs add up and become YEARS. I am grateful for my 12 years. I never dreamed my life could be this good.

When times are trying that is when I zealously emerge myself in my program. Always coming out on the brighter side of things.
