A is for Acceptance. When I have acceptance, I can live in the moment with a sense of serenity and peace. That doesn't mean I have to like it, I just have to accept what is and know it is subject to change.

C is for Calm. When I stop to hesitate and meditate, I can find the calmness of my center and connect to my Higher Power.

D is for... Detachment Staying devoid of emotional entanglements. (Basically butting out when it's not your business)

E is for EASY DOES IT...very good slogan to remind me to take things slowly and not be hearsh on myself or on ohters. It's sort of a nice way to remind ME to BACK OFF!

F is for .... "First Things First."
Putting first things first in troubled times means finding whatever way I can to set aside my burdens, even if just for a moment, to make time for myself.

G is for gratitude.
Always remember to be grateful for being sober each day. And I need to constantly remember to thank my Higher Power too. AA is my life saver.

N is for No. I am given freedom of choice. When I surrender, I am given the empowerment to make the decision and not have to justify or qualify for having made the statement. No is a complete sentence.
