Still no Misty. Be well MISTY!
I pulled the chip thoughtful or self-pitying.
I sure can be into the self-pity mode if I am not careful. Feeling sorry for myself is not hard to do. I ahve alot of dissapointments in my life and to feel self pity is normal. I jsut dont like to go there. Example. My boss is on a trip for a wek. He has to leave another peson in charge. All they years I worked with him, he never left me in charge. I have one more year than he does. I have 4 more years than the person he has left in charge. Last year I had 10 more years than the one he left in charge, but that person was a man, so i could understand. (and the man used to be a principal at one time.) But this year this person is a person he has only worked with 4 months and he put her in charge. I could look at that and feel sorry for myself that he does nto have enough confidence in me. Or i could look at it and think to myself that he sees something in her he does nto see in me and then work to be a better person. Or i can remember some of my past actions that may have led him to take my name out of the running. LOL ( like the way I reacted when he told me I'd be out back in a trailer this year) I can also find gratitude in the fact i'm NOT in charge of decisions and problems while he is gone. he asked me to be in charge ofunloading the fundraiser chocolate with my kids on wednesday when it comes and to be in charge of setting up and cleanign up (sacristan) at church on Thursday. So i can remind myself the two things he DID ask me to be in charge of are easy..not stressful. and the other part may be very stressful. I got the easier "job". lol
Being thoughtful of others is the way I hope others see me. I call and check on friends who ahve been ill. I send cards to remember birthdays. I try to think of others feelings before I speak or act.
Are you thoughtful or self -pitying?
