I love the new slogan for Kmart---Right Here Right Now!!! That explains my impatience in 4 words!!! I am not naturally patient and need to work at this... Are you patient or impatient??? Please let me know! Thanks! MISTYEVE

I am an impatient person learning how to become patient. Impatience is one of my character defects which I need to keep working on.My mother always told me that patience is a virtue and indeed it is.

Glad you like my doggie Misty. (read it in yesterday's replies) It's a SCOTTIe and one of my thre dogs is a SCOTTIe. (Geroge Scottie Bush)
Patient and impatient? You woudl not have guesses i was the same person if you'd sen how IMPTiENT i used to be with the alkie in my life. If he was drinking or being stubborn...I'd be a jekyll and Hyde of imptience at him. But give me a 3rd grader who cant' grasp how to subttract with renameing....and i can work for hours without raising my voice or getting flustered and impatient. That was the first huge character defect I worked on with my first 4th step (about 13 years ago)
today my impatinece is a very minute part of my life. I am for the msot part PATIENT. I use tools like letting go, prayer, acceptance, How important is it, live and let live, and my own little slogsn...IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO CHANGE THIS? No need to be impatinet over trafic or long lines or rude customers. That's a all a part oflife. Accept it and go about my business.

Dear Lin---Does the Scottie dog watch you when you are on the computer??? Inquiring minds want to know!!! LOL I believe there is a special place in heaven for teachers especially math teachers. I remember what a struggle it was to learn and memorize my times tables. I would cry and stomp my feet (I had no patience for that stuff) As John mentioned in his post patience really is a virture! Thanks so much for stopping by! It is always so good to hear from you! Mistyeve

Good Morning Mistyeve,
Patience/Impatience
On a scale of 1 to 5 (with 5 being the patience of Mother Theresa) I would say I am somewhere around a 4. I guess working with computers has taught me how to be a lot more patient. I have learned how to let things go and just stay in the moment. ( With technical glitches and downloads you learn how to be patient.)
My biggest downfall is when I am pressed for time. Say I have an appointment or have to be somewhere promptly, that is when this chip rears its ugly head. Rushing around and doing things at the last minute is not part of my character, but on occaision it happens. This also ties in with having a back up plan.
Love and God Bless Arlene

Dear Arlene---LOL you must be looking in my windows!!! I am runnin late for getting ready for work but I just love to be at the web site checking out msgs. I have to rip myself away and get showered and dressed and go to work. WORK is a 4 letter word and I lose my patience with it sometimes. Oh well I better try to impersonate an adult here and log off. Thanks for stopping by Honey!!! Good to hear from you!!!------Mistyeve

Dear Arlene,
On your scale, you have me beat. I would give myself a three. People say I am, and that they have found me to be very 'patient' and 'longsuffering' as one person put it, but with myself, that is another story.
Like you say Misty, God and I are working on this one.

Hey Caressa----I know what ya mean about getting impatient with your self. My mind is way ahead of my fingers typing and it gets frustrating waiting for everything to catch up. Thanks for stopping by!-----Mistyeve
