Today I am grateful that I have a nice warm apartment and food in my fridge.
Today I am not so grateful that I have to go out into the -33 degree C forcast with windchill factor to counselling and the market. Yet I am grateful that I was able to reach out and ask for help and that I have the money to buy the food I need.
I am grateful that I am being picked up at the door tonight to play bridge. I am grateful that I can be part of the whole. Tonight we are playing in a World Wide game which makes the world seem very small, and it is great to be able to be a part of life today.

weird. This morning when i came here I saw the chip for self pity and i replied to aht one. Tongith i come and see this one and by the time it was psoted, not sure why that other one was above it. oh well.
grateful and ungrateful? I am very grateful today. grateful that i have a HP inmy life once again. Grateful I have wonderful friends. grateful i ahve TWO jobs tht i love. grateful that I have a husband and 3 dogs who love me.

Dear Lin---I don't know if you know who the rock band from the 1970's
called 3 dog night is? Here is a quick and funny story for ya. The
band is from northern canada and it gets real cold and they have dogs and if it is a cold night they have one dog sleep with them if it is a super cold night they have 3 dogs sleep with them and call it a 3 Dog
Night!!!! I just HAD to share that with you cuz it is a true and funny story. Please give your 3 dogs a
long pet for me okay???? Thanks!!!

I had heard that...about 3 dog night. I have 3 dog nights every night. Some nights 4...when the spouse is in teh DOGHOUSE with me. LOL
