I am very proud of myself for going into work when I wanted to just stay home and sleep all day. I have a bad head cold and my nose is either plugged up or dripping. That makes me very humble to know that I am not working with both nostrils. Are you proud or humble? Please let me know! Thanks----Mistyeve

Good Morning Mistyeve,
Hope you are feeling better.
Pride/humility
For me I feel this is a win - win chip.
A certain amount of pride gets me moving to get up and get dressed and look like a normal person. I also am proud of the accomplishments that I have made in my lifetime.( But not in a bragging way. In a self contained way). I am proud of my family for all the things that they have done and accomplished.
I am also humble as I keep my pride to myself. My humility keeps me teachable and learning all the time.
Today's reading from Easy Does It was on Healthy Pride[/i]
Love & God Bless Arlene

thanks for the reading on PRIDe Lildee. I always see the chips as a plus side and a minus and the PRIDE therefore woudl mean arrogance, snobbish, stuck up, etc. I like how your reading says there is also one called HEALTHY PRIDE. I APPRECIATE your time you take to post such cool readings.
I've never thougth of being humbele that my nose was dripping and i went to work. Hmmm. something to think about at least.
HUMBLE to me is being OPEn to new suggestsion...being willing to learn...willing to change as life sends me a pothole I can find a way to go around it and still get where I wante dto go. it is being willing to rely on my HP.

Dear Arlene-----I am proud to say that my other nostril FINALLY started to work today! You never know what ya have till it's gone... Thanks for the kind thoughts. Glad you could stop by today! Your readings were great and I sure did enjoy them. Thanks again Honey!!!! Mistyeve
Dear Lin---I think it is a mix of pride an humility to go to work sick. The pride is that I have a great attendance record and want to keep it. The humble is that I know I could and should be home resting cuz I am crawling thru the day.... It makes sense to me! LOL Thanks for stopping by-----Mistyeve

Pride can mean too full of myself and not willing to be be open to anything but my own knowingness. Humility is to admit that I don't know it all and surrender to that fact and be open to new thoughts and teachings.
In recovery today, I am proud of the journey I have travelled and I am humble enough to know that I didn't do it by myself.
