This is my last day to take the antibiotics the DR gave me. I am real sick and tired of being sick & tired. I will tolerate resting and taking meds cuz ultimately it will pay off (I hope) Are you Tolerant or Intolerant? Please let me know! Thanks---Mistyeve

I try to be tolerant in all areas of my life. Tolerant of the noisy child behind me in chuirch, tolerant of the barking dog next door, tolerant of the choices (even if i disagree) of others. Using acceptance and letting go i ahve learned those things are not my business. How important is it? also helps me be more tolerant.
I recently learned i msut give myself a shot every day for 2 years. I've had 3 now. the shot itself is not bad, because the needle is small. The prep of the needle pen is the worst part...it has many steps with turns and pulls and pushes. I am being tolerant of it. In fact I am trying to be GRATEFUL to make it not such a chore. GRATEFUL that they have a drug today that can actually REBUILD bone density instead of jsut keep it from getting worse. (that one did not work on me the last 2 years.) So if the shots for 2 years can keep me from many broken bones down the line, I can be greatful for that. And i can be tolerant of it too.
The only thing I can say i am prone to intolerance is when i see people being cruel and abusive to pets, children and the elderly.

I need to be tolerant of the people below me playing marachi music and I am till they play it to loud or after 10 pm I guess this is some improvement I used to be intolerant and would have probably threatened them in the past.

Dear Lin----The length of time involved with a shot or a broken bone is an easy decision. The shot sounds like it could be a hassle but is there any other way? Could you go to a clinic everyday and have someone else give it to you??? I wish you the best of luck with your treatments! Thanks for stoppin by to talk about this today Honey! Mistyeve
Dear John----I have neighbors upstairs who are home all the time. they stomp around, blast the music and or tv, and yell at the top of their lungs. I just put the pillow over my head and try to ignore them It is soooo difficult to live in an apartment when you have lived in a house. You have the wisdom to know the difference! Thanks for stopping by today! Good to hear from you!!! Mistyeve

Good Morning Mistyeve,
Just did a little checking the definition for intolerance is:-
Main Entry: in·tol·er·ant Function: adjective Date: circa 1735 1 : unable or unwilling to endure 2 a : unwilling to grant equal freedom of expression especially in religious matters b : unwilling to grant or share social, political, or professional rights : BIGOTED
So with the above definition in mind I would have to say that I am tolerant of most people, places, and things. As tolerance is the lowest form of love. I may dislike some of their traits but I am at least willing to try.
Love & God Bless Arlene

Dear Arlene----Thanks for the reminder that tolerance is the lowest form of love. The program says we have to love everyone but we don't necessariy have to like them. I don't like all that racket above my head especially when I am sick and trying to sleep. They know I am sick and won't be considerate. I don't like that either. I think my tolerance is a lot lower when I am sick then when I am well. Thanks for stopping by with that reminder. It sure is a good one! Good to hear from ya---- Mistyeve

I ask for your patience and tolerance for not being here sooner. Haven't been feeling all that great and Friday was a day and a half.
Even at bridge people seemed to be in a "grrrr" stage and needed to practice a lot of tolerance, although once I did lose it and told a guy to "lose the attitude!" I owe him an amend because I do know what he was in the space he was in, even though he didn't have a right to take it out on those around him.
Life is great but it isn't always easy.
