I am not as sharp mentally or fast physically as I would like. I've been told the older ya get the longer it takes to recover from an illness. I have to be patient with myself today and try not to push and get every thing done my first day back to work. Easy Does It but Do It has to be my slogan today... Impatience will only make it worse. Are you patient or impatient???? Please let me know! Thanks Mistyeve

Dear John----I think being willing to wait is a sign of patience! I've got a hard time waiting on others but an even harder time waiting on myself. I have been waiting for my self to get well and it is a slow gradual process and I need to be patient and let it happen, Thanks for stopping by!----Mistyeve

Patience started my day and hopefully will end it and that I won't lose it while playing bridge tonight.
Had to update my virus protection on my computer and waiting while things download is not easy, especially when It took about eight hours from when it started and was finally completed.
Getting impatient doesn't help, but sometimes it seems like more of an option, especially when there seems to be no other recourse. Things happen when they are suppose to happen in spite of me.

8 hours for virus protection! WOW! Mine takes a bit, but never remembered it taking THAT long. I think that woudl be a project for turn it on and go to BEd.
patience is easier for me today becaues i ahve learned acceptance and lettting go. I no longer try to change people who are not behaving like i wish they would. I try to be helpful without enabling. I try to see things from the other person's point of view. I try to go with the flow. That makes PATIENCE easier.

Dear Caressa----Computers and all the stuff that goes with them can really test your patience. Sounds like you got it done and passed the test. Thanks for stopping by! Mistyeve
Dear Lin---Having acceptance is a real good tool to gain patience. Thanks for mentioning that! Glad you could stop by!----Mistyeve

Good Morning Mistyeve,
Yep there are times when I get impatient. Like this week. I have been waiting for a tiny little part for my dishwasher. I was supposed to be sent DHL Express. Here it is a week later and still no part.
Another instance of when I get impatient is when I have a planned appointment and for whatever reason my "A" decides to take his sweet time. So I wind up getting really impatient and cranky.
Glad you're feeling a little better.
Love & God Bless Arlene

Dear Arlene---In my opinion when you are paying to have something done and it isn't done in a timely manner then you have a right to be upset and even to complain to the customer service about it. In my opinion that is NOT impatience that is robbery of your money & time!!!! Just my own opinions!!! Thanks for stopping by today Honey! MISTYEVE

We can break an arm or leg in a second but it takes a long time to heal it. The seasons change very slowly - nothing changes "just like that-instantly" Don't feel like the the Lone Ranger - I have been fighting a virus for a week now - coughing, fever, chills ect but I am following the doctor's instructions - took my anti-biotics, drank gallons of water and am "slowly" feeling better. I realize a "complete" recovery will take time.....I have no other choice - it's the pace of Mother Nature Tiger
