Happy Valentines Day! I had a relapse of the bronchitis and am home sick again. I am willing to take DR orders and get some rest. I am stubborn about trying to hang on to my job. I sure hope I won't lose it with all the time off I have had lately. Are you stubborn or willing? Please let me know!!! Thanks---Mistyeve

Have always been willing to do what ever it takes for my recovery, to walk that extra mile that I took when I was using, I apply to my life in today to stay clean.
I stubbornly refuse to pick up, yet that same stubbornness, I need to let go of so God can work through me and direct my life today. I find the word to be very negative and try not to use it in today.

Hey Caressa---Stubborness can be used for ya and instead of against ya. When a defect is turned into a asset then it can be a good thing. Thanks for stoppin by----Mistyeve

I am also willing to do what I need to do to remain sober, however I can be stubborn when it comes to my way or Gods way,I must be willing to turn it over.

Good Morning Mistyeve,
Hope you are feeling somewhat better.
Willing/stubborn
I am willing to turn my life over to the care of a Higher Power. I am willing to acknowledge my defects. I am willing to make changes as necessary. I am willing to put my heart & soul into this Program to keep my sanity & serenity.
But I am stubborn about that constant need to keep working this Program. Complacency will only put me back into the throes of chaos. A place I no longer care to go back to.
Love & God Bless Arlene
Feel better little lady.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
And as much as I'd like to say 'willing'--I sometimes STILL choose to powerstruggle with G-d. *sigh*
I ain't 'fixed' yet.
Some moments it's about the willingness to BE willing.
So far, I'm feeling pretty darn willing. That's a really good thing--cuz G-d has a way of helping me GET willing and I'd just as soon voluntarily be there.
But the day's still young....LOL Best I put the chip in my pocket!

Dear John---The 3rd tradition says the only requirement for membership is the DESIRE to stop drinking. In my opinion desire and willing are almost the same. Thanks for stoppin by today!----Mistyeve
My Very Dear Arlene---I agree with you 100% on NOT being complacent. I think it is so easy to slip into and so difficult to get out of!!!! Thanks for the get well wishes. You are a real sweetheart!----Mistyeve
Hey There Graced---LOL you reminded me of my very stubborn early days in program where I had to pray to be willing to be willing to be willing...(well you get the idea) I carry the chips in my pocket too and they stab me in the pocket when I am offending them! So glad you could stop by!-----Mistyeve
