The way for me to tell if I am self centered or God Centered is when things good smooth and easy that is God managing things. I like the acronym G-O-D=good orderly direction. God shows me the way!

that's when i can tell I am allowing GOD'S WILL into my life instead of forciing MINE.
I can tell I am GOD'CENTERED when I dont hear myself thinking and acting like MEMEME...everything has tobe MY way. Everything has to be for MY good and the heck with the rest.
Last weekend i was ticked because a neice forced me to change the date of a birthday celebration and now I'd miss the church potluck. Guess what? I was in bed with fever and chills and the FLU and if I hadn't changed a week before the date, i woudl have had to do a last minute change. God let that happen. he KNEW i'd not be well on that date.
I am GOD centered when I keep my conscious contact with my HP each day. HE is my guide, my helper, my strength. HE is the one I praise and ask for help.
I pray all throughout the day each and every day. I even chose a profession where I could have GOD in my daily conversations and my work.
Very much GOD centered.

Dear Lin---I love your example of the change in the birthday party. It was NOT your idea to do that and you didn't seem real happy about it and when everything played out it was the best thing for all people concerned. God is the Center, through Him all things evolve.
When I keep Him there, then my life is rich and full of many blessings. When I take the stage, it because a big show and I am back into the insanity of Step Two.

Dear Caressa----You gave a real good comparison. When God is in charge you get blessings but when you are in charge you get insanity
