I have been relaxed the past few days knowing that I am physically feeling better and that the script of antibiotics is actually working I will try to NOT get defensive at the income tax preparation tonight after work. I have a 7pm appt at H & R Block. Are you defensive or relaxed? Please let me know! Thanks-----Mistyeve

I cant see why defensive is teamed with relaxed. I am either stressed or relaxed. LOL
So far today i am ReLAXEd. it's my birthday. I got up early enough to wash my hair and have breakfast. Might even have time to get to wal mart today and have been sick the past few days and not had my daily doses of WM. I'm feeling better from my few days of FLU. I have to change some plans i had with a freind for my birthday, but tha'ts OK. I'm used to that with her. lol We did the h & R block thing a few days ago and we only have to pay $165, so that tickles me to death. ( Last year it was a few thousand...)
I like to have birthdays. I always wear a new outfit on my birthday and I have one for today. I might even get taken out for supper by my hubby! (and then again tomorrow with my best friend)
Recovery tools have helped me be more relaxed. Letting go, acceptance, slogans such as how important is it and live and let live, help me be more relaxed. They help me focus on what is important and not sweat the small stuff.

When I am defensive, I am not willing to listen to anyone I can only see my point of view, but when I am relaxed I am open to suggestion. When I had made up my mind to relapse I was defensive,I was not going to let anyone talk me out of it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY!!! Hope you feel well enough to enjoy yourself today. I am still fignting off a strong case of bronchitis so I know this stuff can take time to shake.
Whenever anyone questions why I say or do something it makes me feel defensive like I got to explain my self and I am tense and on guard. To my way of thinking this is the opposite of relaxed. I would say the opposite of stressed is calm.

Dear John----You brought up some real valid stuff. When I am relaxed I can laugh and let stuff slide. I also am open to new ideas and suggestions. The defensive part of me is very stubborn and will not back down on what I want to do. Thanks for stopping by with some great comments!!! Sincere Hugs----Mistyeve

Good Morning Mistyeve,
Relaxed/defensive
Relaxed for me today. Yesterday I hustled and got a lot of things accomplished so today I can relax a bit. Catch up on some reading and such. Relaxation adds so much to my serenity. A nice calm peaceful flow. Ahhhhh I could drift away.
Take care
Love & God Bless Arlene

Do have to be feeling defensive when the doctor told me to exercise more and lose weight. I found out today that my colestoral is high. That is a first for me but was not surprised. All I had to do was remember the sweet buns and egg bread I have been into the last couple of weeks.
My problem isn't over eating, if anything it is not eating that is the problem, along with not eating the right thing.
I wasn't too relaxed before the test results, but afterward, I came home I was so relaxed I had a couple of hours of rest.
