It is easy to be God Centered on Friday cuz I keep saying to myself & everyone else THANK GOD ITS FRIDAY! We also have a chain of neighborhood restarants that are called TGIF. Are you God Centered or Self Centered??? Please let me know! Thanks----Mistyeve

We were supposed to ahve the day off today for a professional day, but last week got an unexpected 'snow day" so today we go. It doesn't really matter to me. The snow day did not make us get out any later in May now.
Self centered? MEMEME? not these days. GOD CENTERED is very apt. I even choose to work in a Christian school whhere we can read the Bible, pray all throughout the day and I can share my faith with others more fully.
I thank GOD for the good stuff and the bad. That was not easy at first. I often have to ask him what lesson he is wanting me to learn form all of this but I do thank him for the opportunity. By giving each day to GOD, and turning over my will and agreeing to do the footwork, my days go much smoother.

Good Morning MIstyeve,
God centered for sure.
God brought me this mess and God will get me through it. Cuz I certainly can't do it alone.
Love & God Bless Arlene

Dear Lin----It sounds like a good arrangement to do the footwork and leave the results up to God. Some crusty ole dinasaurs told me when I first came into the doors of AA that "there is a God & you're not it" Good solid simple advice!!! Thanks for stopping by!---Mistyeve
Dear Arlene----There is a prayer called FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND and it really shows how God carries us thru all the really impossible times in our lives. We have had so much snow in the Chicago area that we could change the name of that prayer to FOOTPRINTS IN THE SNOW!!! Thanks for stopping by!---Mistyeve

This was a good chip for me today. I was asked to share my esh at a three year anniversary today at a Dual Recovery Anonymous meeting. I didn't know what I was going to day when I got up there. I turned it over to God and He did a good job. I was the lucky one, I got the postive feedback.
It always helps me when I share, today was extra special. A newcomer picked up a chip and came up to me and asked questions afterward. He asked to go to detox after the meeting.
