I have carpet people coming today. Its a hell of a thing when the carpet gets laid more then you do! LOL just a little humor! I was asked to get out of the way while the workmen are there. I will just have to be patient and stay away til they are done. I'm forced to go shopping and to some meetings!!! Are you patient or impatient??? Please let me know! Thanks-Mistyeve

I'd love to have the new carpet, myself.
Patience and impatience. I used to have lots of bouts with impatience. I could not wait for things to happen on their own. I wanted what i wanted and wanted it NOW. Problem, others are usually involved in that process and they dont run on lin's schedule. So i have had to learn, impatience gets me nowhere.
Slogans like ODAT, how important is it and first things first...even this too shall pass...helps me stay on the PATIENT side of this chip most of the time. This was my number one character defect when I found recovery 12 years ago. I've come a very long way on it.

Patience I disagree! I am going to kill somebody! just kidding, I always have my patience tested when I go shopping at Wal-Mart you would think they could open more lines I guess thats why I get those low, low, prices!Patience is a chip I need to constantly work on!

Patience is a virtue, I think that's the saying. I used to think that allowing everyone to step all over me while I waited in the back ground getting all frustrated and bitter was the definition of being patient. In realizty it could be labled being the paralized victim.
Program tools shed new light on the meaning of patience. Today when I practice patience, it means staying calm when I can't change something or someone and staying calm as I make changes.

Being impatient with myself is my biggest problem. Have much more patience and acceptance of others. I have trouble being patient when I can't do what I want to do when I want to do it. The mind is willing but the flesh is weak. Having fibro does tend to 'try' my patience at time and I find myself always looking for balance and acceptance. When I have those, I have patience. www.dayspring.com/ecards/predesign.asp
