I am getting sick again and I made an appt to get into the Dr right after work. I am jealous of anyone who can stay healthy around people who sneeze & cough & don't cover their mouth or nose. I will be content when the Dr gives me something to help me breathe!!! Are you jealous or content? Please let me know! Thanks----Mistyeve

I am very content with myself, & my life. The last time I recall being even a bit "jealous" I used ot to my god. I turned it around and made it a positive. I was not happy that I kept buying larger sized clothing. I'd see pictures of me that looked large and would blame it onthe angle or the fabric. Several of my co-workers were ging to Weight Wtchers and were losing weight and looking GOOD. When one had lost 50, I saw how great she looked and saw what good lunches they were bringing to school. I was almsot jealous that they had a head start on me. So i joined Weight watchers and a health park. I lost 65 pounds and have kept it off since June 2003. When i get the urge to overeat on the wrong things, I look at my :fat" picture and i stop.
I am not a jealous person by nature. I am happy when my freinds have successes. It does nto bother me if a freind has a larger house, more money, a nicer car, etc. I'm not even jealous when I am sick. I use it as a reminder that I need to take care of myself better.

Dear Lin---I think being content is to be comfortable in your own skin. I was told that the 4 major addictions a person can have is food, gambling, booze, & drugs. It sounds to me like you have won the battle with one of these and I would like to congratulate you. It is not easy but it can be done!!!! Thanks for stopping by!---Mistyeve

Good Morning Mistyeve,
Jealous/content
Jealous no not here. Jealous is not in my nature. Jealous for me implies envious. You want what someone else has.
Content is another matter. There are a few things on the back burner which are coming more into view and need some addressing. Things to fulfill MY needs.
Love & God Bless Arlene

Didn't think I was jealous until I looked up in the dictionary for the meaning of the word.
It says: suspiciously watchful and envious.
The Thesaurus says the word can be substituted for: Protective, wary, doubtful.
I can identify with wanting to protect what is mine and I do admit to being doubtful of some people's actions and suspicious of their motives and intent. I was told by my sponsor to always examine my motives and intent. I find that when I do that, I am able to be content within myself.
